About me...Anne-Marie Randall (Anne-Marie Randall Photography) and why I created Photogem
“My passion for photography comes from a true love of people and the desire to make them feel extraordinary”
I first became hooked on photography while styling shoots for a modelling agency at the age of 18. The photographers would let me look through the lens of their cameras to make sure they had captured what I had in mind. I was intrigued to learn how they brought the images to life, how they created different affects, and so I signed up to study photography at the North Oxfordshire College of Art. When my husband was offered a job in America, we relocated to San Francisco where I was offered the opportunity to work with Dennis Anderson, one of the top ten hospitality photographers in the US. I then opened my own studio in California’s Marin County specialising in photographing families. As a mother of two, capturing the milestones of children and their families was of special significance to me and when we relocated back to the UK in 2009 I pursued my interest in photographing babies, children and families.
Being a photographer images are a huge part of my life. My girls are growing up so fast and I can feel them slipping away. I have seen other photo jewellery which was beautiful but not quite my style. This led me on the journey of creating Photogem so that I could see my girls beautiful faces all the time in a style that suited me. I am really pleased with my designs. I wear my necklace and leather wrap bracelet everyday. Sadly I have recently lost my father. Wearing his image along with my girls is a constant reminder of his love and somehow gives me peace. If you decide to purchase a Photogem please be assured that I will treat your chosen image with the greatest of care and create a product that you will treasure for evermore.
